Why You SHOULD NOT Switch To Synthetic Oil-Car Advice

hey everybody I'm here today to tell you

why you should not switch to synthetic

oil so let's get right to the topic of

the video let's imagine that you have a

car and you have been using conventional

oil in your engine and now that your

engine is climbing up in kilometres you

want to switch to synthetic oil for

whatever reason you feel like you want

to do your car a favor and do your

engine a favor and you want to put

synthetic oil in your engine you want to

put the higher grade oil in your engine

ok so many people make this choice and

they think that they are doing their

engine a favor

however they are actually doing harm to

their engine so I'm going to tell you

why you should not switch to synthetic

oil ok so let's get right to it with

conventional oil some sludge accumulates

in your engine and that sludge

accumulates

all within your engine around all of the

various areas including on the seals of

the engine so some sludge accumulates on

the seals of the engine now synthetic

oil has more detergents than

conventional oil so with that being said

when you put synthetic oil in an engine

it does a better job at flushing out all

of the sludge and not you know letting

as much sludge accumulate in the engine

ok so let's just imagine that you've

been using conventional oil for many

years some sludge has accumulated in the

engine including on the seals of the

engine you now switch to synthetic oil

which has more detergents and it removes

the sludge from the seals on the engine

well that sludge was actually protecting

your seals and helping your seals keep

all of the engine fluid inside of the

engine when you flush out that sludge

what happens is you are likely to spring

a leak

are likely to experience some engine

leaks okay of various sorts with that

being said that is that is pretty much

the main reason why you should not

switch to synthetic oil if you are using

synthetic oil from day one in your

engine then that's not a problem there's

nothing wrong with that but if you have

been using conventional oil for a while

and you are making the switch to

synthetic oil then you know you are

likely to experience some engine leaks

for the simple reason of synthetic oil

having more detergents and flushing out

that sludge that was actually protecting

your engine seals and that's basically

it in this video I have told you why you

should not switch to synthetic oil and

that's all I have for you today thanks

for watching
