HUGE cool-down coming!

in eastern parts of the state from gila

county out toward the border with new

as far as snow it will affect areas

mainly at

above 6000 feet where we could pick up

anywhere from one or three inches of

snow before it's all said and done

and then we'll continue through at least

monday evening but the cooldown is going

to be here for the next several days

highs are going to be in the upper 60s

tomorrow and tuesday

we are back in the 70s wednesday and the

80s do return by thursday

now as far as overnight lows they can

get as cold as 47 degrees

if that forecast pans out tuesday

morning it will be our coldest morning

since march 28th you have to go back

nearly seven months we have had

this chilly i know a lot of us are

looking forward to it along with that

chance of rain now tonight it's going to

a chilly start still not as cold as

tuesday morning we're going to be in the

upper 50s from tempe to mesa

up below that seasonal average though of

61. but look at the highs tomorrow

we're going to stay shy of 70 degrees

across the valley

from surprise to scottsdale tempe and

iwatuki all around 68 degrees

67 fountain hills along with san tan

valley and apache junction

came creeking at them the cooler spots

at 64. and that planner showing those

staying generally in the low to mid 60s

for much of the day from the morning

through the early afternoon

with some breezes at times a gust of 20

to 25 cannot be ruled out once again

kind of like on sunday sunset time is

now at 5 41.

and across northern arizona tonight look

at these temperatures we're going to be

in the teens and 20's

from the grand canyon to flagstaff

barely above freezing there in winslow

hebrew below freezing down to 30. 50-0

in custa grande and tucson along with

and those highs tomorrow climbing

gradually into the mid and upper 60's a

few areas close to 70 including safford

up north quite chilly tomorrow mid 30's

in flagstaff 40 in window rock and

winslow 41

62 in bullhead and 62 as well lake

havasu so here's that seven-day forecast

we're going to stay in the upper 60's

through tuesday

lows in the 40s tuesday morning though

we are back in the 70s by wednesday and

slowly warming up in time for halloween

on saturday with a high that day of 88

and lows in the 60s
